What does it mean to be "Wyoming Tough?" First and foremost it means being a good person - a person of character and conviction - just like the people of Wyoming. Wyoming people work hard, live true to their personal values and help each other in times of need. Wyoming people are a special breed. They're the type of people you'd want to invite to your home for Sunday dinner or a game of pick up basketball. They're my kind of people. I'm their kind of candidate.
"Wyoming Tough" also means representing the independent spirit of the people of Wyoming. My opponent has voted the straight party line of his Washington bosses almost 95% of the time. That's not the way we do business here in Wyoming. I want to go to Washington to represent the people of Wyoming - not my party's interests or the interests of outside corporations. Wyoming needs independent leadership in Washington.
My opponent claims to be a fiscal conservative. With his kind of “Fiscal Conservatism” weʼve endured:
I want to work on these problems and find solutions as your advocate in the U.S. Senate.
We donʼt need another Rubber Stamp politician serving the party instead of the people.
We need an advocate who will fight for and represent all the people of Wyoming.
I will be that advocate with your help.
As an attorney in Gillette, I have been an advocate for many, many WYOMING citizens over the past 17 years. A United States Senator is the ultimate advocate for all the people of Wyoming.
